1839 over 6 Newcomb-1 near VF detail w/ even brown color. A few marks o/w a nice example of this scarce overdate. It was made by the mint clerk inadvertently punching the 9 in the date upside-down (rendering a 6), and then punching it right-side up on top of his previous error. (Image)
