KING'S "ALTERNATIVE LUNDY" - A LUNDY ISLAND FANTASY: For those who are unfamiliar with this artist's work, this is a large collection of fantasy 'stamps' inscribed "Lundy Island" and based upon British Empire and Commonwealth types from line-engraved through to 1953 QEII types. Viewers will recognise many familiar keyplate types, iconic types incl. 1935 SJ, 1929 PUC £1, Falklands 1933 Centenary, 1948 RSW, etc. Collection also includes 'surcharges', 'proofs', 'colour trials', Postal Stationery, etc. along with a catalogue and supplement. Stockbook contains 500 unmounted mint stamps, 45 covers/cards, 6 single stamp 'signed' proofs, 6 blocks of six 'signed' proofs.
