1925 British Empire Exhibition 'AUSTRALIA WINS THE TEST - IN BUTTER' being a photo of a marvellous butter-sculpture of English batsman Jack Hobbs being stumped at the wicket at the Sydney Cricket Ground, small surface fault, unused. [Sir John Berry Hobbs was a highly successful batsman. In the pre-Bradman era he was widely considered the pre-eminent batsman in the world]
1934 Royal Visit to Australia real photo card (plain 'Agfa' back) depicting route taken by the HMS Sussex from Marseilles (France) with list of ports visited & dates plus inset photos of the ship, HRH Duke of Gloucester (Prince Henry) and the Sydney Harbour Bridge, very fine unused.
1934 Australian Broadcasting Commission self-congratulatory card for assistance given to the Dutch plane 'Uiver' that helped it avert a mid-air crisis and land safely at Albury (NSW) with facsimile telegrams plus photos & facsimile signatures of the pilots, unused. Very scarce. [This incident occurred in the closing stages of the MacRobertson Air Race, that was won on handicap by the 'Uiver'. Later in 1934, the plane crashed during a flight from Holland to Java, killing all seven on board]
