R.M.S Solent & Trent" with a Barbados c.d.s, delivered free of charge as a consignee letter addressed to the port of landing; 1902-04 covers (2) and card with G.B stamps cancelled at Barbados, handstamped scarce straight line "POSTED ON BOARD" (3); and 1911 cover bearing Barbados 1d cancelled oval "POSTED ON THE / HIGH SEAS". Dominica. 1847 Entire to England, sent on the Eagle to St. Thomas, with Dominica double arc datestamp; and 1868 entire letter to Scotland sent on the Eider to St. Thomas with Dominica c.d.s and red "PAID / AT / DOMINICA" crowned circle, both prepaid 1/- in cash. The 1868 letter with two vertical filing folds, but finer than most covers from this correspondence, the crowned circle inverted but otherwise an unusually clear strike. (2).
