Royal Naval Air Service. 1916 (June 2) South African O.A.S postcard to England, written by G.E Evans of No 7 Squadron R.N.A.S, the message headed "R.N.A.S, East Africa" and including "I was discharged from hospital yesterday and am back with my squadron", Indian F.P.O No. 73 c.d.s applied at Mbuyuni and boxed "PASSED BY / (crown) / No 3350 / CENSOR". Also two other O.A.S covers or cards. Very few items recorded from the R.N.A.S in East Africa. (3).

Nyasaland Field Force. 1916 (Oct 21) Long registered O.H.M.S cover from New Langenburg to the stamp dealer W.T Wilson in England, bearing six N.F 1d stamps each cancelled "F.P.O / 1" c.d.s, violet "A.H Jepson" cachet and manuscript "R.747, F.P.O. 1". Backstamped F.P.O 1 c.d.s, Zomba M.O.B squared circle, British Concession Chinde c.d.s and in London, signed "Guaranteed, W.T Wilson" in pencil, vertical fold at left, otherwise fine. A good registered cover, unusually without a registration label.
