REMARKABLE IRISH CORSINI LETTER; Superb 9 June 1591 EL to 'To The Worshipfull Mr Phillip Corsini, Mr Vincent de la Barre this be dd. [delivered] London. The content by Guglielmo in Corck whom writes How Lambert keeps in need of money because of his bad management...he is a man very changeable in his words and without judgement....from Bristol he set out three times for London for money....the ship has casks of beer, biffa cloth, pork and candles.....he is much involved in problems to do with Lambert, who is in love with a fine Lady and wishes to marry........ Eleven Irish examples of Corsini correspondence are believed extant of which this is the only example from Cork and is probably the earliest Cork surviving letter. Unusually v.fine and intact.
