1914 WWI cover (very fine) to NZ, franked Egypt 5m Sphinx canc clear virtually complete strike of "N.Z. MILITARY POST OFFICE/EXPEDITIONARY FORCE" rectangular rubber d/s (violet) DEC 24 1914. Receipt b/s of Te Aro 2 FE 15. NZEF d/s used for a short time in Egypt by NZ Base Army PO, after initial use on troopships of the Expeditionary Force main body (which reached Egypt 2/12/1914).
