1854-55 Lithographs Imperf 4d pale blue with Major Transfer Variety 'RALIA' in Squeezed-Down Letters SG 3s [R9/16], margins close to large, tiny scissor-cut at U/R in the margin only, professionally cleaned, lightly cancelled clear of the variety, Cat £1600. BPA Certificate (2018).
1861 Printed by Perkins Bacon 4d imperforate plate proof single in dull claret on ungummed unwatermarked paper, almost full margins, ironed-out vertical crease.
1885-93 De La Rue 2d grey SG 96 complete pane of 60 (10x6) with the margins removed, well centred, some faint toning & a few units with minor bends, full unmounted o.g., Cat £2100++.

RAILWAY STAMPS: ½d, 1d pink (fault at U/L), 9d, 1/-, 1/6d orange, 2/- (closed tear), 2/6d, 4/-, 5/- & 10/- turquoise (pulled perf) each with typewritten 'Specimen.', very fresh & mostly very fine with full unmounted o.g. [We surmise that this "set" was prepared c.1924, in which year new values of 1/3d & 1/6d were introduced. The new colours were introduced in 1923. Elsmore Online lists a similar set - values or number of stamps not stated - with typewritten 'SPECIMEN', Cat $900. This set is superior to Derek Pocock's mounted set that sold at the Prestige auction of 23.9.2011 for $786]
