1840-86 Group of covers, outers & fronts, incl 1840 Melbourne arrival on front from Hobart Town, 1845 entire from Albury to Melbourne, sender's address is Wodonga, Hume River, 1d Half-Length x2 on stained cover, 1855 entire to UK with 1/- Octagonal, 1859 & 1860 Melbourne to England both with 6d QOT pairs, 1862 6d Adapted Design Melbourne to Port Adelaide, 1867 2d Laureate from Yea to Melbourne, 1869 10d Laureate pair on cover to England. 1853 (Jan) use of nice 4-margins 2d engraved QOT on outer (small faults) from Portland? to Melbourne (JA13/1853 backstamp), ink annotation on face EARLIEST/DATE/13.1.1853 is still correct. (Image1)
