1863-71 Experimental Separations Perf 12 by Walch & Sons 1d carmine as SG 70 but with a strong Double Print (most noticeable in the white lettering), two neat part-cancels. Unlisted by Gibbons. Chris Ceremuga Certificate (2009), but we think the cancels are dubious.

1905-11 Crown/A Typo Pictorials 2d plum Perf 11 ACSC T37aa (SG 251ba) with Double Perforations at Right between stamp and margin showing guideline cross, couple of uneven perfs, light hinge remainder & reinforced along double perforations at back. The second row of perforations is also Perf 11; not listed in the ACSC. Ex Dr Owen Ingles.
1905-11 Crown/A Typo Pictorials 2d dull grey-purple Mixed Perf 12½ and 11 ACSC T38 (SG 251c) perforated 12½ all around and subsequently re-perforated Perf 11 at base creating Irregular Compound Perf 12½x12½x11x12½ with Double Perforations At Base, partial base margin, large-part original gum with hinge remainder & reinforced along double perforations at back, Cat $400 (£42 for compound perf only). The ACSC states "Three mint examples have been seen with single line perf 12.4 all round, with an additional line of perf 11 at left." (our emphasis; this item shows the Perf 11 at base). POSTAL STATIONERY - POSTAL CARDS: 1908 Visit of the Amercian Great White Fleet 1d carmine-pink HG 13 printed over 'STAMP'-within-box at upper-right, view side with Australian & US Flags & Coats of Arms surrounding 'AUSTRALIANS/[ship]/WELCOME AMERICANS', very fine with just a couple of tiny marks in the gold border, unused. [The decision to issue cards for each of the 'smaller' States was made at the eleventh hour, with a single printing of the 1d stamp for the relevant State over the 'STAMP' box on these semi-official cards; for Tasmania only 2000 were printed, all of which were sold]
