1896 usage of 1d+1d STO Envelope uprated with ½d Tablet, cancelled on arrival at Sydney where very fine double-oval 'LOOSE SHIP/LETTER' h/s applied, rare '½D' tax h/s crossed-through & '1D' applied. Most attractive.
1905 Crown Lands Office, Hobart 'On Public Service Only' large envelope front sent to Launceston with 'BOOK POST/CROWN LANDS OFFICE/HOBART.' boxed cachet in violet and Pictorials ½d and 1d both punctured 'T' tied Hobart cds pyaing the concessional rate, a few blemishes and L/L corner rounded. Ex Dr Owen Ingles.
1906 L. Susman & Co, Wholesale Agents advertising envelope for 'Taddy's Premier Cut Tobacco and Myrtle Grove Cigarettes' on back, sent with Pictorials 1d Hobart d/s on face, fine 'OATLANDS/JY13/06/TASMANIA' arrival b/s, couple of tiny blemishes.
1908 illustrated advertising envelope showing Plumber's Grip Spanner, sent flap unsealed to Campbelltown with 1d Pictorial tied Hobart machine cancel, couple of very minor blemishes. Envelope probably supplied by manufacturer; no local agent name.

1912 very early use of 'ONE PENNY' on 2d Pictorial surcharge tied Launceston '26.OCT.12' machine cancel on cover to Victoria, fine condition. The ACSC states "The first surcharged sheets were placed into stock on 22 October 1912. The stamp was probably issued in November 1912."
