Annotated album with strong representation of CDS on Pictorials including rated RR 'DANIEL'S BAY', 'DARWIN', 'GLEN HUON', 'GOLDEN VALLEY', 'HENRIETTA', 'LADY'S BAY', 'LIENNA', 'MT HICKS ROAD', 'PALOONA', 'ROSE-VALE', 'SELBOURNE', 'STIRLING', Type 2 'SURGES BAY', 'TEMMA', 'UPPER HUON', 'WATTLE HILL' & 'WHITEMORE' (all these are very fine to superb), RRR 'CENTRAL CASTRA', 'CHRISTMAS HILL', Type 3 'CLAREMONT', 'HILLEND', 'KING RIVER', 'LEGANA', 'LEMANA JION' & 'ROYENRINE', and RRRR 'ALONNAH', 'PIEMAN BRIDGE' & 'WESTWOOD' (these are all light strikes), values to 6d noted, also a small range of earlier CDS including 'QUE TPO'. Album with Hobart including 1843 cover with small boxed '11JA11/1843' h/s, 1852 cover to Melbourne with huge GPO cds, 1856 outer with 'PRE-PAID' d/s of Hobart & Launceston, Launceston including reasonable double-oval on 1833 entire, 1847 entire with very fine '10.O.CLOCK' cds, 1862 inwards entire from GB with diamond 'SHIP-LETTER-INWARDS-FREE' d/s in red, then various cds, duplex & some other types from Hobart, Launceston & Zeehan. Ex 'Tamiami'.
BARRED NUMERALS- First Allocation: Annotated pages including fine to very fine strikes of '13', '15', '16', '25', '29', '30' (rated RRRR), '32', '42', '45' & '46', also a possible '17' of Breadalbane (NNR), mostly on imperf Chalons but a few 4d Couriers included, condition of both the stamps & the strikes is rather variable; also boxed 'CAMP TOWN' d/s superb strike on 1851 front & light strike on 1853 entire.
