1888 Registered double-weight cover from Singapore to Colchester, England franked by two singles of 1882 8c. orange and six singles of 1883 2c. pale rose (two stamps on back) for correct 2x13c.= 26c. double rate, all stamps bearing "STAEHLIN & STAHLKNECHT/SINGAPORE" sender oval in blue, the stamps on front tied by "SINGAPORE/NO 27/88" c.d.s., the two stamps on the reverse tied "SINGAPORE" in double circle handstamp, with Singapore Registration datestamp in black and London Registration datestamp in red on front, Colchester '24 Dec 88' arrival c.d.s. on the reverse. N°17, comprising four covers with datestamp allocated to SEREMBAN (Proud 150) incl. two envelopes each with Straits Settlements 25 Cents meter from 12.JY.41 resp. 6.AU.41; one cover with single franking Selangor 25 C mosque (SG 79) from 10.JE.41 and one cover with single franking Straits Settlements 25 C KGVI (SG 286) from 17.JE.41. The fifth cover with frank 'Postage Paid Malaya 25 Cents' from 4.OC.1941 when the datestamp was allocated to SEGAMAT (Proud 200). All covers with appr. censor markings and addressed to Australia.
