1926: Plate Proof blocks of four (2) for the 1 d. value, imperforate in black with Frame Only Proof with large margins all round, one with slight age spot on vignette; a Vignette Only Proof (Van Riebeeck's Ship) on gummed unwatermarked wove paper, of fine appearance but with central thin. 1928: Postal Stationery 1 d. black & carmine on buff Newspaper wrappers (3), all unused with varieties: the first with Ship central vignette misplaced 3 mm. to left, second example with the Ship vignette misplaced to right by 11 mm. shift; the third example presumably trapped in the press with two impressions of the Frame Only (one significantly over-inked) with "Van Riebeeck's Ship Missing" variety, this last with minor crease which contributed to the error and tiny tear at base.
