Bechuanaland, 1888, 1/2 d. on 3 d., pale reddish lilac, opt in black, showing the celebrated variety broken F in HALF, lightly cancelled by VRYBURG, a tiny puncture caused by the hyphen in the overprinting process, fine and fresh appearance, the variety exists only once a sheet, 12 were surcharged and only 6 example known, 5 in private hands and this is the ONLY KNOWN USED one, CV for the unused ones are £ 17,000, fine and very fresh appearance, because it's unique XF!.
