image 1895 (Jan 12): Registered Cover from the Seychelles to Ulm, Germany, bearing 1892 2 c. green & carmine (2) in combination with 1893 3 c. dull purple & orange in an irregular block of six and a vertical pair, tied by SEYCHELLES despatch cds and octagonal Shipmail's "LIGNE T PAQ. FR. N° 3" datestamp (Jan 17). The obverse shows only a handwritten 'R37' registration number, upon arrival at the German border a registration entry label "Vom Ausland über Bahnpost Alt-Münsterol / Mühlhausen (Els.) Eingeschrieben" was added. Reverse with corresponding oval German Bahnpost datestamp (Jan 31, 1895) and Ulm arrival cds (Feb 1).
