image 1969/75: Artist's Essay for 1 r. 50 value, hand-painted Essay on card (114 x 89 mm.) by Mary Hayward, multicoloured and showing the Battle between HMS Sybille and the Chiffone, largely as accepted but the accepted design showing Seychelles legend enlarged at base (manuscript 'check logo') and illustration reduced at left.
