PERF. 6d BLUE BLOCK OF FOUR ON QUADRUPLE-RATE COVER TO G.B. PER P&O; 6 May 1876 env. (creases clear of stamps and slightly reduced) from Clare to Scotland at the quadruple 6d rate with a block of four perf. 6d blue tied by blessedly light "CLARE/S.A" cds's with 12 July "EDINBURGH" arrival cds on the reverse; carried by P&O 'Bangalore' to Galle and then on the 'Hindostan' to Port Said and Southampton.
