image QV-MAINLY QEII & MAINLY SCOTTISH ISLANDS, STEAMBOAT MAIL, REGISTERED MAIL, TELEGRAPH FORMS, PPCs, ETC.: A large box containing a quantity of mail & postmarks on stamps or piece mostly from Skye, Orkneys, Shetlands, but also smaller islands and the mainland inc. a small collection of envs. postmarked 1961-72 with various steamer cachets (Caledonian Steam Packet, Duchess of Hamilton, Loch Lomond Mailboat, Inner Isles Mail, Islay Steamer, etc., 24); Telegraph Forms datestamped "PORTREE" (4, 1881-97, faults) & others; a 1905 PARCEL BILL from CRAIGELLACH to KEITH; a "LICENCE for Armorial Bearings, Male Servants, and Dogs" (1923) & "GAMEKEEPER'S LICENCE" (1908) with Maybole d.s.'s; and a number of picture postcards, some with local scenes.
