1860/1912 ca., QUEENSLAND NUMERAL CANCELLATIONS, comprehensive collection with ca.280 mostly different numeral cancellations from number 23 to 702, comprising many interesting and valuable items, i.a. 2 items rated 'RR' with '438' (Barcaldine) in red and '484' (unknown location); 3 items rated 'RRR' with '172' ray (unknown location), '344' (Canterbury) and '596' (Kallanda); further 7 items rated 'RRRR' with '51' ray in red (Thursday Islands), '79' ray in red (Herberton), '166' ray on chalon-head (Eulo), '293' (Millmerran), '368' large numbers type (Richmond), '651' (unknown location) and '682' (Flagstone Creek). Also included is the new discovery '702' barred numerals on 1d sideface (only recorded on Commonwealth stamps!). Recommended postal history source in mostly F/VF condition. (Image)
