1912 Thomas Heaslow [?] Grocers & Hardware Merchants parcel tag to GB with rare franking of 3d 5d 9d x2 & 10/- all tied by 'REGISTERED/30AU12/BRISBANE' cds in blue, the 10/- also tied by London arrival d/s of 7OC12 in red, some creasing & adhesions plus some damage to the address side. 1907-11 Crown/A 2d blue with Clear Forehead SG 290 two examples that each show Ghosting of Letters 'Q' & 'AND' & elsewhere. With a 1936 article by RB Yardley who states 'Clearly the variety is of great rarity...'. See Ken Scudder at page 275 where he says the variety occurs on [R10/7-9] on one - unidentified - plate. (2)

1907-11 Litho Large Chalons 2/6d vermilion ACSC #Q55 (SG 309) irregular block of 16 (3x6, minus units 2 & 3), well centred, virtually full og with 12 units being unmounted, Cat $1600++ (£670++) for mounted singles. [The ACSC states that this stamp was issued in sheets of 30 (6x5). That is certainly not the case here, and we note that John White had a block of 28 (7x4)]
