1902-04 Completed Design 10/- dull green ACSC D44 (SG D43), good colour, faint strike of the 'PARCELS BRANCH/GPO SYDNEY' postal cds in violet, Cat $5500 (£1800 for CTO). [The ACSC states "Stamps with 'NSW'-in -concentric-ovals are CTO...Postally used examples are of extreme rarity and worth a considerable premium...such stamps bear the cds (usually in violet) of the Sydney Parcels Branch." Postally used examples sold at the Prestige auctions of 25.1.2003 and 24.1.2004 for $7924 & $4301 respectively]
1907 Crown/Double-Lined A ½d light green with the Watermark Inverted (as usual) ACSC #D56 (SG D53) large-part L/H pane of 48 (6x8) from the top of the sheet, generally very well centred, a few trivial gum-side blemishes still most units unmounted, Cat $3300+ (£1680+ as mounted). [The ACSC states that only 12,000 of this value were printed]
1908-09 High Values with Stroke 1/- to 20/- complete ACSC D61-65 (SG D58-62), very fresh & very fine, Cat $15,500 (£11,425). One of the finest sets we have seen.
