Mint & used accumulation in 10 albums, packets etc. with 1952-95 mint collection apparently complete (ex Postal Charges; the later issues unmounted) and similar used collection reasonably complete both with some overprints & surcharges, plus many extras including 1980s-90s blocks of 4 and larger multiples **, Yearbooks 1986-92 and 1994-5, bundle of stamp packs, FDCs, album of covers including registereds with 'RELIEF' cancels, etc, also an album of New Guinea including Birds to 2/- and Papua Lakatois to 1/- & Pictorials to 2/6d with some multiples, condition variable but most are fine to very fine. POSTAL HISTORY: 1946 philatelic cover to Victoria with KGVI 3d tied by one of two fine to superb strikes of the rare 'SALAMAUA/19JA46/PAPUA-NEW GUINEA' cds. The rarest postmark of the Territory of Papua & New Guinea. [A Salamaua registered cover sold at our auction of 1.3.2020 for $5825]
POSTMARKS: Four volumes of mostly Papuan Philatelic Society covers with Opening Days, numerous registereds many with 'RELIEF' datestamps and/or provisional R labels, coastal ship covers, some scarcer 1980s & 1990s material, some better stamps to £1 Fisherman including 1/7d Cattles & 2/3d Commemoratives, generally fine to very fine.
