1952-2011 collection largely complete ** and/or used & beautifully presented on home-made pages up to 1980s with duplicates, blocks of 4, M/Ss including show overprints, lots of thematic interest, the modern issues a bit disorganised in stockbooks, noted 'SPECIMEN' overprints, surcharges including 1994 set and 1995 Tourism '65t' in corner block of 9 with U/R unit Surcharge Omitted **, etc, also New Guinea Birds range including Undated 5/- & £1 and 'AIR/MAIL' overprints 2/- 5/- 10/- x2 & £1 all used, Papua Lakatois range */used, a few NWPI overprints, etc. Weighs 21kg.

1995 Emergency Surcharges on Birds of Paradise '21t' Thick Surcharge on 45t & on 90t with '1992' & '1993' imprints at base SG 757-8b & varieties, all marginal from the top of the sheets, unmounted, Cat £192.

2001 (Dec) Surcharges '50t' on 2000 Olympics 25t with the Surcharged Value Omitted SG 904a, rounded corner at U/L, 'PORT MORESBY/ SMK /...' cds, on remnant from cover, unpriced by Gibbons. The only commercially used example we have seen.
POSTAL CHARGES: 1960 (March) 6d with 'IXIXIXIXIX' on 7½d blue SG D1, exceptional centring & with none of the characteristic toning that bedevils this stamp, unmounted, Cat £850. BPA Certificate (1977). A gem!
REVENUES: post-Independence Impressed Duty Stamps inscribed 'STAMP DUTY/.../5c', 'STAMP DUTY/5t/...' singles, '.../PNG/STAMP DUTY/PAID' two impressions each from the "Worn Die" & the "Redone Die", photographic proofs in black. Most unusual.

POSTMARKS: Australian Stamps Used in TPNG extensive collection in three albums 'ABAU' to 'WEWAK' about 90% complete on piece or cover with many registered including with Relief cds & a few Spelling Errors & other irregular usages including makeshift & manuscript "labels", good range of commercial & official mail mostly airmail to Port Moresby or Sydney, noted the only example we have seen of oval 'MONEY ORDER OFFICE/2DEC1949/KAVIENG' d/s on airmail piece (NB: unrecorded by Garwood & Heward), some minor duplication. A very fine collection that can be developed further.
