OVEPRINTED BLOCK 'O.S.': 1876-85 Broad Star Watermark Perf 10x11½-12½: 4d deep mauve with the Overprint Inverted SG O17d, well centred, faint tonespots, Cat £500. Gary Diffen recorded eight examples in private hands: his example - minor separation fault at lower-left - sold for £335.
OVERPRINTED THIN 'OS' NARROW SETTING: 1891-96 Perf 13 2d orange with No Stop after 'S ' SG O59a in horizontal pair with normal stamp, large-part o.g., undercatalogued at £235+, for singles. Ex Gary Diffen. [Absent from Dr Don Pearce's collection]
OVERPRINTED THIN 'OS' NARROW SETTING: 1891-99 Perf 10 6d blue with No Stop after 'S ' SG O62a, minor defects, light GPO cds of SE19/92, unpriced by Gibbons.
OVERPRINTED THIN 'O.S.' (NARROW SETTING): 1896-99 New Denominations Perf 13 with 'Bantam' ½d dark brown with Overprint Inverted SG O68b, hinge remainders, Cat £500. Absent from Don Pearce; the Gary Diffen pale brown pair - described at the time as "The only examples recorded" - sold for £480.

OVERPRINTED THIN 'O.S.' (WIDE SETTING): 1891 'POSTAGE & REVENUE' Perf 10 2/6d pale violet and 5/- pale rose-pink as SG O86-87 but Perf 11½-12½, 'PARCEL PO ADELAIDE/S-A' cds, Cat £14,000 if genuine. However, they are forgeries. The perf gauge is wrong, and the overprint is only 16mm wide, instead of 21mm on the genuine stamps. Inexpensive space-fillers. (2)
PUNCTURED 'SA': 1906-12 De La Rue Long Stamps Thick 'POSTAGE' Crown/A Watermark 3d sage-green SG 298 blocks of 12 (4x3) & 20 (4x5), 4d red-orange blocks of 12 (4x3) & 20 (4x5), and 6d blue-green blocks of 14 (7x2) & 28 (7x4), all with 'MT GAMBIER/20AP10/STH AUST' cds. Very scarce multiples.
