image 1856-60 Imperf Small Diadems 1d orange-vermilion as SG 107 but Rouletted on All Sides horizontal pair, a bit stained & with large-part redistributed o.g. The famous 'Dutton Roulettes'. Unlisted by Gibbons. [On 3.11.1856, James Dutton submitted a block of 24 (6x4) to the NSW Postmaster-General in the hope the Post Office would adopt his method of separation, which did not happen. The block was in the George Ginger collection (1945) and was later divided into smaller pieces. A vertical pair sold at our auction of 20.4.2015 for $1090]

image 1861-97 Five Shillings Coin mint selection stated to comprise 1861 Perf 13 dull violet x2 (one with diagonal 'SPECIMEN' overprint), 1882 Perf 10 deep purple, then 1897 Re-Issues Perf 11 brown-purple + red-purple & deep red-purple pairs, Perf 12 red-purple + brown-purple & dull purple blocks of 4, and Perf 11x12 dull purple + red-purple marginal block of 4, generally well centred, all with large-part to virtually full o.g., STC £1500+ in 2009. image 1871-1902 Wmk '36' 1/- black vertical Imperforate Pair SG 221e, margins just touching to good, the upper unit with 7mm repaired tear that doesn't affect the facial appearance, Cat £3750. Ex Colonel Harrie Evans and Gary Diffen: sold for £2520. RPSofV Certificate (2002) that erroneously states "imperforate horizontally". [Only two other pairs recorded: a defective pair Ex Theodore Steinway (1939), current whereabouts unknown, and a horizontal pair also Ex Colonel Harrie Evans. The tear has been really well repaired & was not noted in the Evans or Diffen catalogues nor on the certificate]
