image 1879/1912, OFFICAL STAMPS WITH "O S" OVERPRINTS (SG ex O2/O58), comprehensive, predominantly used collection with ca.400 stamps, comprising a vast array of issues in different colours, watermarks, perforations etc. Included are many valuable items, i.a. 5s purple (SG O14), 5s mauve (SG O49, 3 items), 10s cobalt-blue (SG O50), ½d on 1d grey (SG O55) and 12 ½d on 1s red (SG O57), each used, furthermore one very rare used example of 10s mauve and claret with overprint in type 1 [(SG O36, 3750.-£), perf. at top & bottom reduced, otherwise fine].
In addition ca.30 stamps with 'O S' puncture incl. 10s mauve and claret, perf.12 (SG 241b, VF/XF MLH). Recommended source for specialized collectors in mostly F/VF condition. SG CV ca.8000.-£ (Image)
