Stockbook collection with Sydney Views 1d with full margins & another defective example but with largely superb BN '74' (rated RRRR) of Callandoon and an apparently unused but too-good-to-be-true 2d, 2d No Whip SG 30a on piece with Laureate 1d probably neither of which belong, Plate I 1d & 2d on cover to Ireland but it's likely that neither of them belong, Laureates to 6d, a page of mostly dodgy Large Diadems, an alleged Perf 12x13 1d SG 171, later issues to 20/- x2, condition very mixed & lots of problems throughout. Caveat emptor!

1850-51 Sydney Views Plate I (Vertically Lined Background) Intermediate Impressions 2d greyish blue SG 16b, margins close to good with outer frameline at right, BN '55' of Newcastle, Cat £350.

1854 Laureates with Numeral Watermark 3d yellow-green with 'WACES' at Right SG 87a, an unusually large example with margins close to large, lightly cancelled well clear of the variety, Cat £225. Superb!

1861-88 Five Shillings Coin imperforate plate proof pair in yellow-brown on bright green surfaced paper from the base of the sheet, some creasing & peripheral tears that are characteristic of this printing, the left-hand unit of unusually fine facial appearance. Despite the faults, a beautiful & striking proof that was absent from the 'Carrington' (Mark Dankin) collection. [This pair adjoins at lower-left Guy Hutson's half-sheet of 25]
