1907 Emergency Printings on Victorian Crown/Double-Lined A Paper ½d to 2/6d SG 353-363 plus 6d shade, the 1d & 2d (tonespots) are upper-right corner examples with No Watermark BW #N14ab & N19ac, large-part o.g. with the ½d to 4d & 10d being unmounted (and rare thus), Cat £500++ ($845), mounted). While several denominations are quite common, the ACSC states that of the 2½d 36,480 were printed, while only 6240 of each of the 8d 10d & 2/6d were printed. The Victorian paper was of a different size from the NSW paper & the ACSC notes that "...stamps without watermark occasionally occur in the last column"] The illustration is above Lot 392.(11)
