image 1859-61 inwards mail from United Kingdom to same addressee at Waterloo Warehouse in Sydney comprising 1859 3/3d franking entire with Emblems wing-margin 1/- green pair & single plus 2d blue + 1d red; 1860 covers from Ampthill or Hitchin each franked with single Emblems 6d lilac; 1861 from London with single 1/- Emblems; all covers with original enclosures and Sydney backstamps; stamps alone on cover Cat. £2000+.  The addressee was Thomas Cooper, half-brother of Daniel Cooper, who along with fellow emancipist Solomon Levey established the Waterloo Co in 1825, which went on to become a highly successful general merchandise and retailing operation and pioneered the shipment of wool to England.
