SCARCE NUMBER 4 - THE LAST DAY - 16 May 1844 legal-size E (partly split, creases) to Henley franked by 1d red strip of three, RH-RJ plate 40 each stamp with three margins, apparently paying the 1oz rate plus late fee (or possibly a 2oz rate with a missing stamp?), tied by No. 4 MXs.
