image COMMERCIAL PERFINS: Extensive collection 'A' to 'YR' in three large Hagner albums, highly specialised by perfin pattern & positions with many major misplacements, double & even triple strikes, patterns from the sublime to the ridiculous with tiny pins to ones that occupy more than half the stamp area, many better stamps to 1/4d - including a couple of very deep shades & a SMult Wmk Perf 14 - that we weren't looking for but we noted 1d reds array of shades, a Dry Ink & several Die IIIs, 2d brown block of 4, a few 4d lemons & many 4d blues, some plate varieties noted - including 1d red Substituted Clichés Die I x2 & Die II - but likely to be many more, condition variable which is normal for a collection of this nature that is all about the perfins. Ex Doug Brookson. Weighs 15kg. [Our vendor states "There are 784 different patterns, including 28 not listed in the Perfin Catalogue". Each pattern is represented on as many different stamps as possible. It is stated that 863 are "rare" & "504" are "uncommon"] (Image1)
