[The ACSC states that the Heavy Coastline occurs only only two of these units [L13] & [L25]. It also states that the appearance of the coastline varies, probably due to uneven makeready]

1/- blue-green Die IIB with the Watermark Sideways ACSC 33aa (SG 40ba) horizontal pair, contemporary Sydney parcels-roller cancel largely clear of the design, Cat $1000+++ (£800+++). This is a very scarce stamp postally used in-period so a pair is of some rarity: sold at our auction of 1.12.2007 for $757. [NB: most examples offered as 'used' have bogus or non-contemporary cancellations. We guarantee this pair is a genuine in-period usage]

£2 purple-black & rose-carmine ACSC 56C (SG 45b), well centred, small thin at the top, neat 'REGISTERED/SYDNEY NSW' cds, Cat $4500 (£2750). A particularly attractive example of this key stamp, of which most examples are poorly centred, heavily cancelled &/or have significant faults. PUNCTURED 'OS': 2/- grey-brown with Dog-Leg Flaw though 'SH' of 'SHILLING' to the Value Circle (First State) ACSC 37Hba(2)f, Melbourne cds, Cat $900 based on the ACSC stating that a variety punctured 'OS' are priced at twice the normal stamp, plus a premium for the scarce shade.
