1d deep violet (aniline) ACSC 76G horizontal pair, well centred, Cat $750+. A rare shade & a highly desirable multiple.
1½d scarlet Electro 16 on Thin Paper ACSC 89ab (SG 77a) marginal block of 12 (3x4) from the base of the sheet with listed variety Retouched 'GE' of 'POSTAGE' & Shading 89(16)h plus unlisted varieties on [16L40], [16L55] & [16L58], well centred, minor bends, unmounted, Cat $3900+ (£1320+ for mounted) plus a premium for the varieties. Photocopy of RPSofV Certificate (2013) as the then ACSC 89aa, for the L/L corner block of 24 from which this block was removed.
1½d deep golden scarlet ACSC 92J punctured 'OS', unmounted, Cat $750 for mounted mint: see Footnote 2. Michael Drury Certificate (2004) as "intense golden scarlet", but the next stamp is an even deeper shade.
4d orange array of plated multiples identified as comprising Plate 1 Left-Hand Pane [13-15], [19-20/25-26], [19-21], [22-24], [28-30], [31-32/37-38], [34-36], [37-42] and [43-48]; Plate 1 Right-Hand Pane [1/7/13/19], [4-6/10-12], [25-26/31-32] and [28-30/34-36]; Plate 2 Left-Hand Pane [1-2/78] x2, [3-4/9-10], [23-24/29-30], [29-30/35-36] and irregular block of 8 [31-32/37-39/43-44]; and Plate 1 Right-Hand Pane block of 10 [5-6/11-12/17-18/23-24/29-30], [25-26/31-32] and punctured 'OS' [39-40/45-46]; a few ACSC-listed varieties including Line through 'FOUR PENCE' and Horned Emu both in the block of 10 (a bit aged & with gum skips but all unmounted), some mostly minor perf separation/reinforcing otherwise generally very fine with at least 40% of all units including 'OS' x2 being unmounted, Cat $10,000+ for basic singles. An excellent lot for the specialist.
