India large 13” X 6” airmail commercial cover having high value #206 10 Rupees Gandhi stamp from the Crystal Estate. Stamp is on the reverse having a weak cancel of November 1948. Cover has two vertical folds not affecting the stamp. Mailed to Chicago from the Hindustan Construction Co. Bombay cancelled upon arrival on December 3, 1948. An unusual Indian postal history using this popular issue. Go for it as you might not see another one in a long time. (Image)
