1919, P.O.W. card from Ahmednagar camp located in India, two line PASED CENSOR BOMBAY at top, 4-line imprint with CENSORSHIP STAMP in red, violet h/s date 6 OCT 19., to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the German stamp did not originate on this card, tear at top, horz file fold, this camp was used to house German POW's captured by British in German East or Southwest Africa during the Boer War, apparently still in use during WWI (Image)
