Head Inverted, 4a red and blue. This stamp is the best copy in existence, it came originally from the L.E.Dawson collection and had a RPS certificate. It is example XXII in the Williams ''Rare and famous Stamps, Volume 1'', cancelled with the Bombay figure ''I'' in a diamond of parallel lines, Frame 12, Head #1, sold for £1150 in Robson Lowe Dawson Collection Sale, Lot 258, Nov 10 1966. Dawson was editor of the ''Philatelic journal of India'' for twelve years and his major contribution, ''the one and two annas stamps of India 1854-55'', which subsequently appeared as a volume, won for him the Royal Philatelic Society's Crawford Medal.
