High degree of completion for QV issues, though some of the earliest issues in mixed condition, nevertheless many better stamps throughout. We note 1891 Jubilee 2c both mint & used (the mint with a small thin), KEVII used values to $1 (2) and KGV used values to $3 & $5 (SG 131/132). CHINA/HONG KONG COMBINATION SAMPLE MAIL; Mar. 1900 env. (few creases and blemishes) endorsed 'Samples of Chinese Vermilion & Glue' to Isle of Man (unusual thus) with opening at left (two holes for sealing string) and franked China 10c (3), 4c (2) + 2c (3) with indistinct cancels (possibly Canton) with vert. strip of four HK QV 10c (small defects) applied over three of the China stamps at base and tied by "SHANGHAE" cds.
