1877-1879 REVENUES: Specialized collection of about 220 Revenue stamps, starting with the various types of "G" overprints in red on early Cape of Good Hope Revenues (large and small format), also spacialized parts of "G" overprints in black, and 1879 issue up to three used singles of £5 blue, plus two early Cape cheques with colorless embossed stamps used in Griqualand in 1873. Almost all stamps used, few unused, some stamps with traces of usage and/or ageing, but good to fine mostly. A scarce specialized collection.
