1840 "Penny Black" SG 2 [Q-F], small stamp with close margins in places, apparently unused with large-part original gum, Cat £12,500. A handy 'spacefiller' that is offered "as is".
1967 Paintings 4d Master Lambton with Gold Printing Partially ('4D') Omitted, small fault at the top. With a normal stamp for comparison. [Unlisted by Gibbons and Tom Pierron, both of whom do list similar partial omissions in the 1967 Christmas Painting issue]
1973 Paintings (Reynolds & Raeburn) 3p 5p & 7½p each with Gold Printing (Queen's Head) Omitted SG 931a 932a & 933a, unmounted, Cat £485. With the normal stamps for comparison.

FIRST DAY COVERS: Collection in eight bulging cover albums with a few plain KGVI period including 1948 Wedding plus illustrated Olympics, then mostly illustrated including better 1960s sets with a few Phosphors including Lifeboats (plain), decimal commemoratives & 'special issues' largely complete to 2013 including numerous M/Ss, setenants, booklet panes, 'Smilers' & counter-printed stamps (a joke, because they would have been pre-printed for the FDCs), some with datestamps applied by hand (Heaven forbid!), many hand-addressed to Zimbabwe, and finally the largest & most absurd (and that's saying something) FDC we've ever seen (for the 2010 Classic Album Covers), generally very fine.
