1840 'Penny Black' 1d black ['DC'-'DD'] Plate 9 pair with Vertical Guidline Through Upper Right Corner SG Spec AS56 ['DC'], just shaved at left, two light Maltese Cross cancels in red, Cat £2500+. Plate 9 was registered on 9 November 1840 (ERD 18 Nov), the transition to black cancels was in February 1841, therefore this has to be an early printing from the plate and thus very scarce with Red Maltese Cross cancels.

1883-84 High Denominations 2/6d deep lilac, 5/- crimson & 10/- ultramarine SG 179 181 & 183, unusually well centred especially the 10/-, large-part o.g., the 10/- being possibly unmounted, Cat £4000 (mounted). A very attractive trio. RPSofL Certificate (2004) for the 10/-.
1883-84 High Denominations White Paper 2/6d deep lilac on Blued Paper SG 179a with obvious & very attractive bluing of the paper, very fine 'WEST STRAND BO/ C /AP12/90/WC' cds, Cat £3600. A lovely stamp. David Brandon Certificate (2008) states "...blued paper in the white paper period".
1901-13 KEVII Issues on hingeless pages including 5/- x3, 10/- x2 & a well-centred Pound with rubber 'GUERNSEY' cancel, generally fine & a few are mint, Cat £4750.
