1946 Peace issue, 2½d & 3d ovpt 'SPECIMEN'. On the face of it these two stamps look genuine, but especially on the 2½d value, there is evidence of additional marks to the right of 'Specimen' suggesting the letters were placed in some forma to create the overprint, the 'S' is also larger on both stamps. The overprints are also in slightly different positions and marginally shorter than the actual length of the genuine ovpts. Assumption is that both are rare and very well produced forgeries.
