1751-1840 A very interesting accumulation of stampless covers (a few are fronts), with a wide range of interesting markings. We note 'Gt Malvern Penny Post' in blue, 'Hounslow' udc in black to Truro,' Hastings Penny Post' to London (1834) & 'Missent to Worcester' in greenish blue(1828), etc. Many London & Scottish marks, various rates. 1804 2d Post entire used in London, addressed to Strand with a fair strike of the scarcer 'Twopenny/ Post/ Aldersgate St.' in black. Red oval time cancel '10 o'clock/AU 17/1804/E***' (last part unclear). Black '2' handstamp. Collector's note attached. A fine item. {C} (Start Price = £25.60)
