MAR. and manuscript VIA OSTENDE, on reverse framed TRIESTE/19/2 cancellation, taxes on front in blue 4 1/4 Silbergroschen, reverse 12 Kreuzer ( 5 d.) austrian postage tax and in British full tax of 22 d. plus an additional tax of 9 d. which is an equivalent of 78 kr., an exceedingly rare letter to the Syrian Levante, there is the possiblity that this letter was just the address wrapper of a printing matter, F-VF!Brief oder Streifband von Großbritannien nach Syrien, gesendet von LONDON via Ostende-Aachen-Triest-Beirut nach DAMASKUS, mit ENGLAND PER AACHEN.FRANCO.1854/14/2/B rotem Doppelkreisstempel, rotem Malteser Kreuz PAID/C/13 FE/1854, P in roter Einkreisentwertung, vom österr.
