1974 (Nov 19) commercial airmail cover at the 10p rate to WA with fine strike of the 2-line 'DELAYED EN ROUTE/AIRCRAFT HIJACKED' in black on reverse. Roughly opened and stained. [On 21/11/1974, a British Airways plane en route to Singapore was hijacked at Dubai. 23 passengers, including Australian aboriginal activist Kath Walker, were taken as hostages to Libya.
