1929 (27 SP): Postal stationery envelope 1d. red (type III, Heijtz E2c), unusually on HORIZONTALLY laid paper, additionally franked by 1929 Whale & Penguin short set of 5 to 6d., and sent registered from Port Stanley to Maidstone, England via Liverpool, with seven fine to superb strikes of "PORT STANLEY FALKLAND ISLANDS/C/27 SP/29" double circle d/s, with reg. label at left and Liverpool as well as Maidstone backstamps. Minor blemishes but a most attractive and scarce usage. Value Add Taxes (19%) will be added to the hammer price and the buyers premium. (Image)
