image Alwar selection including Rouletted ¼a vertical pairs Imperf Between x2 and Imperf Horizontally neither listed by Gibbons, good range of shades & postmarks, 1894 large-part internal cover, 1924 two India Registration Envelopes used at 'ALWAR CITY', also Revenue 1a blue from a Waterlow sample sheet, generally fine to very fine; Jammu & Kashmir Postal Cards x4 comprising with Arms Stamp in Dull Red & Heading in Devanagari on Laid Paper x2 or Wove Paper, faults but presentable; and in Bright Pink on Wove Paper internal usage with triple-circle cds of 'MIR...' (?) & similar arrival of 'BHIMBAR' on the face, the address & message in Perso-Arabic Script, minor creases still unusually fine for such poor quality stock; and Nawanagar duplicated range with lots of shades including a couple apparently postally used & 1877 1doc with 'Specimen' in Red, generally fine to very fine. image BAHAWALPUR - POSTAL HISTORY: 1949 commercial cover endorsed "Registered, Acknowledgement Due", to Karachi with scarce combination franking of 'PAKISTAN' Overprints Nasik ½a x5 (two on the reverse) & Hybrid (Karachi Overprints from Lahore Plates) 1a3p block of 4 all cancelled with light but largely-legible 'BAGHDAD- UL-JADID/11MY49' cds, straight-line h/s on locally produced R label, 'KARACHI/REG/12MY49/ A ' arrival b/s, light vertical fold & minor soiling. A rare Avis de Réception ('AR') cover. Ex Wilson Wong.
