SMALL GROUP of fine postmarks on postal stationery cards & envs. Includes QV postcard with a large "PENNY POSTAGE JUBILEE/V[crown]R/1840-1890/2.JY.90/SOUTH KENSINGTON" double strike but v. fine nonetheless (slight foxing); a postcard with a "BRITISH EMPIRE EXHIBITIONS 1924" 1d indicia postmarked with v. fine "EMPIRE EXHIBITIONS/AUG 1/2.45PM/1924 [lion]/WEMBLEY PARK 1924" machine cancel; a similar for 1925 on a 1925 card; and a 3d KGV env. postmarked with a v.fine "LONDON/ DEC 10 1.45 PM/1927.G [boxed] BRITISH INDUSTRIES/FAIR FEBRUARY 20-MARCH 2/FOR TRADE BUYERS" (advertising the 1928 fair) stamped to order for "THOMAS DE LA RUE & CO LIMITED".
