1980 National Stamp Week 22c complete sheet of 100 (20x5) comprising 20 setenant strips of 5, the five units in the first column all Imperforate at Left ACSC 874b, unmounted, Cat $10,000+. [The ACSC states "It is believed that two sheets were found...", both of which have been broken-up. This is a relatively recent discovery by our vendor, in a purchase by him of sheets for postage!]
1989 Non-Olympic Sports Cycling as the issued 41c but denominated 37c ACSC 1379E(1), unmounted, Cat $6000 (2002). A world-class rarity in the fields of self-adhesive stamps, and "Cycling". [The ACSC classifies this stamp as an "essay". We consider this to be a mistake. The initial printing was of the 37c stamps. The rate was increased to 41c and all 37c stamps were supposed to have been destroyed. In our opinion, this is an unissued stamp, not an essay. An example sold in our auction of 30.11.2019 for $2275]
