Reverse with oval framed PORT ELIZABETH despatch (March 18) and CAPE TOWN arrival (March 21) in red. First pair affected by vertical file fold and a further stamp with repaired tear, manuscript 'Lot 7' in ink at right (which rather dates the covers provenance back to the early 1900's), however despite the imperfections, a cover of great visual appeal and considerable rarity.
